I guess I have lots of blog posts in line because of recent events but let me start off by telling you all about this outfit. This is what I wore last week to the Rio Mints Backyard Party. We're asked to wear comfortable chic clothes since it's a backyard party and we're having activities. I opted to wear this blue+stripes+neon outfit. I layered on a striped poncho over my bodycon dress and gave my feet a rest day by wearing these sandals. Pretty comfy for the event!

Canary Yellow

This is what I wore last week to the Freeway X Botong Francisco Launch. As usual, the weather was very humid so my outfits have to keep up with it (don't wanna tiis-ganda all the time LOL) As what I've said in my past blog posts, I love pairing blazer, shorts and heels. It just looks so chic and comfortable. 

This Canary yellow blazer was given by my friend Renz Pangilinan last SuperSale Bazaar. I love it because you can wear it in a casual and a formal outfit. You can also easily pair it with lots of colors because it's pastel shade works in almost everything. Thank you Renz! See my friend Renz this Friday at the Lee Style Army competition! About the Collection

This year’s holiday collection celebrates Philippine’s greatest muralist of all time, Carlos “Botong” V. Francisco , who comes from the artist town of Angono, Rizal. Freeway’s Holiday 2012 Collection of National Artist Collectors’ Series pays tribute to his life and amazing murals. This most anticipated collaboration collection also marks the 100th Grand Anniversary of Botong’s life who was born in 1912.

Botong was the second Filipino to receive the title of National Artist in Painting, after Fernando C. Amorsolo. He was one of the first Filipino modernists who revolutionized art and deviated from Fernando Amorsolo’s romanticism of Philippines scenes. His great works include Blood Compact, First Mass at Limasawa, The Martyrdom of Rizal, Bayanihan, Magpupukot, Fiesta, Bayanihan sa Bukid, Sandugo, Portrait of Purita, The Invasion of Limahong, Serenade, and Muslim Betrothaland the famed “Nose Flute” which set auction record of P27.8 million and is now owned by a private Indonesian collector. 

From canvass to fabric, Freeway immortalizes Botong Francisco’s paintings in to a wearable art. Freeway’s Holiday Collection honoring Botong Francisco consists of beautiful tailored dresses in woven poplins and soft materials like chiffon, a range of silhouettes of casual and corporate tops, plus fave gift items like accessories, watch, tote bags and more. The 25 piece collection comes in vibrant holiday colors, befitting the color palette of Botong Francisco’s paintings. Like always, an attractive packaging and a biography tag accompanies each item. The collection hits the stores this October.

Freeway officially launches the 100^th year Anniversary of Botong Francisco this October.   There will be series of events and celebrations throughout the year staged by each of the institution of the Botong consortium. The Carlos “Botong” V. Francisco Centennial Consortium is composed of Angono Artists Association, Ayala Museum, Blanco Family Museum, Botong Francisco Family, Cultural Center of the Philippines, Far Eastern University, Freeway: National Artist Collectors Series, Lopez Museum, Municipality of Angono, Museo ng BSP,   Museum Foundation of the Philippines , Philippine Art Awards, SM Malls,  University of Santo Tomas, UP Vargas Museum  and Yuchengco Museum.

Sneaky Sunday

This is what I wore last Sunday. Another late post haha! I've been so busy this week with all the events(yes I'm back because it's sembreak!) and the Superb by Supersale Bazaar. I really enjoyed this week, so glad to be able to attend events like before and so happy to see my blogger friends! I missed seeing their faces and how chic they dress up. Anywaaaay back to my outfit. I wore this to the mall with the family. It was a hot day so I just wore this printed dress and layered this white button down. Fresh lang ang peg? haha And notice, I'm wearing sneakers! haha! Achievement! I'm not a sneakers type of girl. I normally wear ballet flats,sandals and heels. Since I wanted this outfit to look girly, casual and comfy I mixed and matched these pieces and used these colors. Achieve naman diba?Very young and fresh lang.

Foster The People Live in Manila!

No words can explain how awesome this concert was! This is probably one of the best concerts I've watched in my entire life so far! Btw, sorry for posting this a week after the concert. It's finals week so I've been busy with exams and thesis. Good news is, sembreak naaaaa!yaaaaay :) 

Anyway back to the concert, Mark Foster was a crazy performer. I swear there was no idle moment since he graced the stage. He practically played all the instruments present. He's sooo awesome, they're all awesome. God, I can't describe how hyped I was that night, my sister, friends and I were singing and dancing along with FTP but I'll let you scroll down now to see the pictures my friend, Garry took that night. We were seated at the Upper Box! I guess the hype's the same in the Patron section. We can still listen and see clearly from our seats. We can also dance and sing freely. The experience was beyond words!
